AK Interactive Black Spring 3mm is a pair of black steel compression springs for modelers adding pipes and hoses to scale models.
The pack contains two high quality steel compression springs, each 15cm long and 3mm in diameter, in black. Fitted to a model, the tight coil gives the ribbed look of a flexible hose or armored line, which is what AK intends them for.
To make the spring hold a curve, AK recommends threading a wire through it. Shape the wire first, slide the spring over it, and the pair keeps whatever route you set. Cut to length with side cutters and secure the ends with cyanoacrylate glue.
