AK Interactive Airbrushing Masking Film is a pack of two A4 sheets of clear, low tack masking film for modelers who want crisp paint edges and custom stencils on scale models and dioramas.
The sheets are transparent PVC film with an acrylic adhesive. Adherence is low, AK states it leaves zero residue, and it works well over both gloss and matt surfaces. Cut a piece to the shape you need with a sharp blade and lay it on the model where the paint should stop.
Spray thin coats rather than trying to cover in the first pass, and keep paint from pooling along the edge of the mask. Once the paint is dry, lift the film away for a clean, sharp line. Because the film takes pencil, you can draw a design on the back and cut your own stencil for a model or diorama.
