Six 3rd Generation acrylics for rusty finishes and chipping effects on any model.

Rust is never one colour. On a real abandoned vehicle the oldest corrosion is dark and almost purple brown, the active rust is bright orange, and the edges where paint has lifted sit somewhere between the two. That is why a set beats a single bottle: you get orange brown, medium rust, light rust and dark rust to stack in layers, hull red as the primer tone showing through, and chocolate for chipping work where the surface has flaked back to bare coating. All six mix freely with each other, so the transitions between light and shadow come out smooth rather than banded. The 3rd Generation formula covers and adheres well by brush, and thinned it airbrushes as easily as a lacquer based paint. Matte finish.
