AK Interactive: 3G Russian Green 4BO
$4.99
Russian Green 4BO, the standard green of Soviet armor in the Second World War, from AK Interactive's AFV range.
4BO is the protective green that covered Soviet tanks and vehicles through the Second World War, from the T-34 and KV to the self propelled guns of the last campaigns. It was mixed in many factories under wartime conditions and faded fast in the field, so real vehicles varied widely, and a matched base is the right start for the fading and filters that build that variety back in. AK's Russian Dark Brown 6K and Russian Sand 7 are the camouflage colors applied over it.
The AFV label marks the colors AK has chosen for painting military vehicles of every era, the specific tones used by different armies in different periods and matched to references such as RAL and FS. The 3rd Generation formula is non toxic, very highly pigmented, and made to airbrush cleanly when thinned rather than clogging, while covering well under a brush. The cap shows the color so the bottle is quick to find.
