AK Interactive: 3G No5 Earth Brown (FS30099)
$4.99
No. 5 Earth Brown, an AFV range acrylic from AK Interactive's 3rd Generation line, matched to FS 30099.
FS numbers come from Federal Standard 595, the US government color system, so a color carrying one is defined rather than approximate: No. 5 Earth Brown is AK's match to FS 30099.
The AFV label identifies colors for painting military vehicles of every era: the specific tones used by different armies in different periods, matched to references such as FS and RAL. The 3rd Generation formula is non toxic, very highly pigmented and resistant, made to paint by brush or airbrush without the clogging older acrylics suffered when diluted. The cap shows the color so the bottle is quick to find.
