AK Interactive: 3G Field Drab
$4.99
Field Drab, a brown drab for historical figures, from AK Interactive's Figures range.
Drab is the dull brown of so much military cloth and equipment: uniforms, webbing, packs, gaiters and canvas covers in many armies and periods. This is AK's field drab for figures, chosen for cloth and kit rather than vehicles. On a figure the base has to carry shadows and highlights to show the folds of the cloth, and a matched drab gives a sound mid tone to shade down with a dark brown and highlight up toward sand.
The Figures label marks AK's compilation of very specific colors for painting historical figures, including WWI, WWII and modern uniforms. The 3rd Generation formula is non toxic, very highly pigmented, and made to airbrush cleanly when thinned rather than clogging, while still covering smoothly under a brush. The cap shows the color so the bottle is quick to pick out.
