USMC Sand FS 33711, an AK Interactive 3rd Generation acrylic from the AIR range for scale aircraft, reference AK11871, in an 18ml bottle.
AK's AIR label marks the 3rd Generation colors made for painting aircraft of every era, including the very specific tones different air forces used in different periods, specified under standards such as FS and RAL. The formula is built for both brush and airbrush and avoids the clogging that traditional paints suffer when thinned. It is non toxic, with very high pigmentation, coverage and resistance, for model kits, miniatures and modeling in general, and the cap shows the color so the bottle is quick to find.
FS numbers refer to US Federal Standard 595, the color system used to specify US military aircraft finishes.
