AK Interactive: 3G Acrylic Clear Green (17ml)
$4.99
Clear Green, a transparent green from AK Interactive's 3rd Generation Clear series.
A transparent green is the starboard navigation light on aircraft and vessels of every era, the tint in bottles and glassware, and the glow of gems, potions and power cells on fantasy and sci fi miniatures. Painted over silver it becomes a jewel; painted over white it becomes a lamp. Thinned into a glaze it enriches greens or gives a metal an eerie, tinted cast.
AK designed the Clear series to be transparent while keeping the other qualities of the 3rd Generation acrylics. That makes it the tool for tinting translucent parts, such as windows, headlights, aircraft canopies and optics, while they stay see through. It also tints metallic parts and makes glazes to shift the tone of areas already painted, and it can go over any type of paint without reacting or damaging the finish underneath.
